Norbu Ling e.V. was founded in 1994. At that time a group of committed people got together to support Tibetan refugees.

Venerable Dr. Panglung Rinpoche is our Honorable Chairman, supporting our activities with his precious advice.

Norbu Ling e. V. enjoys a recognized charitable status. Sponsors funds are forwarded to the predestined projects at minimum administrative expenditures. Many of our sponsors were able to visit and see our activities on-site.

Although Norbu Ling e. V. does not consider itself as a Buddhist Centre, its active members are trying to convey some of the Tibetan culture – which in its essence consists of Buddhism – to the Western people who show interest in the exchange of Eastern and Western cultures.
